This photograph was taken in Doubtful Sound, New Zealand, from the water just after it snowed that morning. As the clouds lifted, the waterfalls began to stand out and this peak caught my attention. The fresh snow against the dark rock felt especially striking, and the contrast between white and black captured the quiet beauty of the moment.
